Reading Assignment:
Mid-term exam II is cumulative. It will cover all material
in Ch. 1, 2, and 6 in Tippens, in addition to Chapters 3.1, 3.2, 3.5, 3.6,
and 3.7. All material covered in Lectures 1 - 23 is slso fair game on the
exam.
We begin with a review of
the video on the Principle of Inertia from the Mechanical Universe Series.

The class is then open for
questions.
If questions do not fill
the hour, we begin discussion of Newton's Laws (1,
2, 3). Use
of Newton's Laws (1, 2).
Force of gravity. Newton's
Law of Universal Gravitation.
